Did you ever think of me,
As your best friend.
Did I ever think of you,
I'm not complaining.
I never tried to feel.
I never tried to feel.
This vibration.
I never tried to reach.
I never tried to reach.
Your eden.
(Your eden. Your eden.)
Did I ever think of you,
As my enemy.
Did you ever think of me,
I'm complaining.
I never tried to feel.
I never tried to feel.
This vibration.
I never tried to reach.
I never tried to reach.
Your eden.
(Your eden. Your eden.)
I never tried to feel.
I never tried to ...
(Your eden.)
Music and lyrics: Callier / Callier
From: Eden (1998).
Source of the lyrics: the CD-booklet,
except for the repetition at the end.
Carlos Pineda (angelofmusic666@hotmail.com) wrote me that this is a song from a
group called "Hooverphonic", consisting of three men and a woman: Geike Arnaert,
Frank Duchene, Raymond Geerts and Ales Callier (the latter is the author of the
song). Carlos adds that their version seemed to him "dark music" and that it
does not have a male choir singing along as in Sarah's version. |
